Leadership is an enticing mistress. She calls us in with promises of greatness and glory. However, most people are intimidated by her. She often seems just beyond our grasp. A bridge too far.

One of the reasons I believe people have that perception is that they are overcomplicating things. In my view, leadership is pretty straightforward. You need to do two things: (1) find a need, and (2) fill that need.
